App Launched!

Liverpool Community College has just launched "College Life" and you can now download it for free from the Apple App Store and Google play.

As you all will already know from my previous article, I produced all the artwork for the app and personally designed over 1000 assets, making every creatable character truly unique.

It was great to have the opportunity to work on the project and I look forward to seeing how it will be received!

College Life

Here are some of the customizable avatars from the upcoming, Liverpool Community College app, "College Life". I supplied all the artwork for the app and Red Ninja Studios are programming the assets, menu screens and interfaces. There are over 1000 assets to choose from; resulting in over a million different combinations.  We are hoping for release some time in September.

New Website

Quick update... I have created a portfolio website for myself.
It contains all my most recent work and may be found at the following web address.

2012 Showreel

Here is my showreel for 2012...

It contains work from college along with work on the Liverpool Community College app, "College Life". I spent 3 months working and developing the assets, clothing and accessories. Red Ninja Studios are currently programming the app from the loading screens to the clothing options. I've been busy with the app work up until recently, I will update more work soon...

Paris Street

Back in 2011 I had the privilege of attending a college trip to Paris. During this trip I was set the assignment of modeling and texturing a Parisian street. This street is adjacent to Notra Dame.
The street comes to 6165 polygons.  Most of the polys are on the ruddy lamp poles!

This is a short animation I also completed back in 2011.  I had not created an animation in 3DS MAX up till this piont and is a little too clunky for my liking.

Old Work - 2D Environments

I entered this in a competition back in 2010 and won first prize... a graphics tablet.

I was given the outline of designing one possible future. Everyone elses were looking rather blade runner-y so decided to go with something different.

Here are some older pieces...

I completed this back in early 2011 for a college unit. The art style I used here would eventually become a forerunner of the style I used for the "College Life" app.

...And so it begins...

These were a part of a comic strip I put together for the Plaza Cinema in Liverpool. I spent a few years working there as a screen usher and after getting to know the crew a little better I started to produce these. They were presented on a notice board in the main foyer for the amusement of customers and staff alike.

Here is some of my early work, done back in 08 and 09.
